Oak Bay 'KOOL' Half Marathon and Asics Ekiden Relay

Iron Mountain Triathlon

Olympic and Sprint Tri on June 20, 2010 at Whonnock Lake in Maple Ridge. 400 participants expected. Event website

Fort Langley Half & 5km

The seventh annual Fort Langley Half takes place on July 18, 2010. Start/finish at the National Historic Site! This is a very enjoyable route on undulating country roads. Details and results

Spirit of the Sea Run: 1 mile & 5k

August 1-2, 2009. Part of the Spirit of the Sea Festival in White Rock. 1-mile road race prior to the torch light parade on Saturday night at 8pm, and 5k Beach Race on Sunday morning at 10am. Do either one or both.

Beach Mile Pier Run

A unique and fun event happening August (date TBA) at the White Rock beach. Running barefoot, navigate between a series of gates set out along the beach. Details

3rd Annual Langley Times Rotary Run 5k/10k

Sunday, September 27, 2009, McLeod Athletic Park, Langley. Flat, picturesque route. Donations go to clean water harvesting in Kenya, and to Langley School District Foundation. Details and results

Pumpkin Fun Run 6k

October 11, 2009 at Alder Acres, Langley. PenRun is helping to organize this family-friendly event on a scenic rural course, starting and finishing at the well known Alder Acres (home of "Big Bob" of PNE fame). Event website

Moonlight 5km Trail Series

Select Thursday nights between October 22 and December 17, 2009 at Sunnyside Acres Urban Forest, South Surrey. Enjoy a group run about 5km in length through the fabulous trails at night! Series details

Great Pumpkin Run-Walk 5k/1k

October 25, 2009 at Peace Arch Hospital, White Rock. PenRun is helping to organize this fun event to help raise funds for medical equipment at Peace Arch Hospital. Choose from 5k or 1k route, run or walk. Event website
