Make Over Challenge 5km

March 26, 2011, Mill Lake, Abbotsford. The course loops around twice and features many beautiful views of the lake. All additional donations donated to the Fraser Valley Health Foundation towards the Pediatric Ward. We invite all ladies to come out and support a great cause and have great time doing it! Details

The Free Run

April 13, 2012, Victoria. This will be a different event. There is NO entry fee. This is the FREE Run. This will be a fun 5km that can be as difficult as you make it. Participants must register online. Details & registration

April 29, 2012. Peninsula Runners is sponsoring this hugely popular 23rd annual 10k in downtown Victoria. Event website

West Abbotsford Walk/Run for Success

April 30, 2011. 2km walk, 5km (1 lap of route) run or 10km (2 lap) run taking place at Rotary Stadium and Discovery Trail. Help provide children and families with the opportunity for success by supporting subsidies towards programming, equipment and supplies, in order to allow for free and low cost programs. Details

Oak Bay Half Marathon & 5K

Peninsula Runners Victoria hosts the 8th edition of this event on May 13, 2012. Scenic course in historic Oak Bay, prize money, Asics Relay, Kids races, post-race party. Details

Abbotsford Police Challenge

June 11, 2011. Peninsula Runners will be co-sponsoring this year's 21st Annual Abbotsford Police Challenge with Asics. This event promises to be competitive and fun for all those entered to run the 10k Challenge and the 5k Fun Run. Proceeds to Special Olympics. Details & Registration

Iron Mountain Triathlon

Olympic and Sprint Tri on June 20, 2010 at Whonnock Lake in Maple Ridge. 400 participants expected. Event website

Canada Day Run

July 1, 2012, 10:30am. Start/Finish Lochside Trail at the end of Lochside Drive. Approximately 7km with a mix of trail and road. Race entry $25 includes a Canada Day Race Shirt. Proceeds to The Arthritis Society — Joints in Motion. Details

Fort Langley Half & 5km

The eighth annual Fort Langley Half takes place on July 24, 2011. Start/finish at the National Historic Site! This is a very enjoyable route on undulating country roads. Details and results

Farmer Road 8k Fall Classic

September 25, 2011, at UFV in Abbotsford. The first running event from our new Abbotsford location! The beautiful course loops all the way down to Farmer Road and back up to Mackenzie finishing at UFV. All entrants eligible to win a $200 dollar gift certificate along with other great prizes! October 16, 2011 at Aldor Acres, Langley. PenRun is helping to organize this family-friendly event on a scenic rural course, starting and finishing at the well known Alder Acres (home of "Big Bob" of PNE fame). Event website

2007 BC Cross Country Championships
